Remembering Grandma Keeney

Grandma Keeney past away on September 13th from lung cancer. She was 78 years old and was married just short of 60 years. We will carry her with us in our hearts and remember how much she loved us. We were fortunate for her to meet Karli before she left us. These pictures were taken at the reception after her funeral.

Water squirts

We took the kids to Long Beach towne center to cool off. It was super hot and the water felt so good. Tiffany, Grace and Caleb met us there. It was hard to get pictures of all three of them. Karli was staying dry with Daddy

Papa's Birthday

We went to breakfast for my Dad's birthday. My brother Scott and Dad were swinging Noah afterwards. Karli is looking cute in her dress for Papa's birthday. Babies sure know how to sleep don't they? Noah found a branch to sit on in the nature center. He loves watching the turtles and squirrels.

Playtime

I've been getting outta the house as much as possible lately to keep him busy. We meet with my Moms group to play. He is still in copy-mode, following other kids around like their shadow. Some kids get annoyed with him and others love having a little assistant. When we leave the park, Noah says, "bye-bye playground!" He loves to go down slides over and over, but he is very careful and cautious when climbing anything. He loves to run accross bridges and swing on bars like a monkey.

Brother and Sister

Noah is settling in as big brother to Karli. He hugs and kisses her every night and loves to talk to her. Karli loves to watch Noah play and run around. I know she can't wait to be good buddies.

Karli's growing

Karli is a chubby little thing weighing in at over 13 pounds. She loves to smile and eat! She is very sweet and we are really enjoying her. We had her sitting in her seat at the dinner table and she started nodding off. She was trying very hard to stay awake, but eventually gave in.

Dustin's New Toy

Boy, as soon as I gave the okay, Dustin bought a bike the very next day. He bought a 06 Harley Davidson sportster in great condition. He already removed the bags and tassles. He was very excited, but Noah was even more excited. He kept saying "Daddy ride the bike!" Don't worry, Noah has not gone on a ride and won't until he's older. Dustin said it's exactly what he wanted to cruise around town and make his ride to work more enjoyable.

Arnold Cypress Park

We went to the park with my Moms club. Noah and Jason had a blast together. Noah loves playing with older kids, Jason is 4. Karli made a friend, Jared. They are only 5 days apart in age. Jessica and I had fun talking about our new babies.

"Surfing"

Noah is all about surfing right now because that's what Daddy does. If you ask him what he's done on any given day, he will say "I went to the beach! I went surfing!" He will pretend almost anything rectangular object is a surfboard. In this case his Uncle Scott was his surfboard. Also in this blog, Noah is eating at our favorite mexican restaurant Baja Sonora. Papa Doug comes to visit and Karli is just looking cute!

Naoh and Friends

We went to the Long Beach towne center for coffee and play with my Moms group. Noah loves his friends Alana and Grant. After a chocolate milk he was ready to play on the playground and get all wet.

Mom in town

My Mom and Stepdad came into town to visit from the Sacremento area. They had fun visiting with their Grandkids. Noah loved having Nana and Papa here to play with.
